Constantly playing with gadgets, although not as much as a lot of other people I know, but that says more about the people I hang out with than about me! I grew up in Vienna, Austria, and did almost all of my travelling in the first 18 years of my life. After I moved to the US in my early 20s, it pretty much stopped dead. Thank goodness Luscious has made sure I get a reasonable dose of adventuring again. Theoretically, I know Europe reasonably well, but while I’d love to be a better tour guide, but it feels like everywhere I go is new again, it’s been so long. At least I can help out a bit with languages. I’m also the obsessive planner. Making progress on being more “in the moment”, but I do spend a lot of time thinking ahead to what might need attention, whether it’s maps, train schedules or postage stamps. |
